TRIPLE PLAY - 3! 3! 3 Songs In A Row!
The "Triple Play" was three songs in a row without any DJ interference. Usually, the set would consist of Song #1, then either a YearShout or Superhit call, then Song #2, then one of these Triple Play jingles, then Song #3.
Oftentimes these were used as a signal to call in to win a contest, such as free tickets to AMC Movies in Morristown or passes to Six Flags Great Adventure.
There were 3 different Triple Play calls loaded on one cart.
